Two new shows, one ending, one just beginning.

My new work, Sentinel: A day I sat by the river, drawing leaves as they floated past. When I look into your eyes I see skeleton sockets. Friend, how much longer do we have? comes down tomorrow after two weeks at the UCF Faculty Show.  Using live data from dronstre.am these search lights turn on whenever the United States performs a drone strike in the Middle East. They remain on for one minute per life slain during the operation, illuminating here what we do not see there.

And Standpipe just moved from Scottsdale Public Art to the Shemer Art Center in Phoenix, where it will be on view from 1 November 2015 to 1 November 2017.  So happy to have a new home for this piece where people can still enjoy it.
