I have two big fears going into the hike:<\/p>\n

  1. Not being able to finish the Appalachian Trail\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. Getting Rejected from the ASU Intermedia MFA \/ Sustainability MS Program<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The first one is particularly disturbing, as I feel like I would somehow be failing myself, which is part of the reason as to why I am doing this at all. \u00a0I don’t have much control over the second one anymore, I just don’t know what I’d do with myself if I don’t get into grad school. \u00a0Eek. \u00a0Interestingly, I’m not terribly concerned about starting too early, getting eaten by bears, or running out of water. \u00a0Maybe I should be.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
